Tates Creek coach Tina Winn started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Myra Brown, 5-8 Sr. McKenna Cummins, 5-10 Jr. Haley Blackburn, 5-4 So. Tyanne Bentley, and 5-4 Fr. JLyn Martin. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nick Cann countered with 5-10 So. Abigail James, 5-8 Jr. Haley Strunk, 5-11 Sr. Holly Huellemeier, 5-3 So. Hannah Hartley, and 5-7 Sr. Katelyn Bundy.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Tates Creek by a score of 62-45. LCA shot 38.6% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 30% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Commodores connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 LCA turnovers.
Katelyn Bundy led LCA with 25 points including six three point baskets. Holly Huellemeier added 24 points, 13 rebounds, and six blocked shots. Hayley Strunk recorded seven points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
JLyn Martin led Tates Creek with 20 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds. Haley Blackburn added eight points and six rebounds. Myra Brown also scored eight points. 5-6 So. Kiauri Shannon recorded seven points and eight rebounds.
