Franklin County coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Chris Roberts, 6-2 Jr. Ryan Schneider, 6-4 Sr. Demetrius Wiley, 5-11 Sr. Rylan Rowe, and 6-0 Sr. Lorenzo McCaskell. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-1 Sr. DeMarcus George, 5-9 Sr. Coty Alexander, 6-4 Jr. Sam Jones, 5-10 Jr. Kirkland Humphrey, and 6-2 So. Cameron Thomas.
Madison Central defeated Franklin County by a score of 75-72. There were seven lead changes and 10 ties in this game. Madison Central shot 42% from the field including three of eight from the three point line. The Indians connected on 30 of 42 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 39.4% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers. Franklin County attempted 16 more shots (66-50) from the field than Madison Central.
Sam Jones led Madison Central with 20 points and eight rebounds. DeMarcus George added 19 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Cameron Thomas recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Rylan Rowe led Franklin County with 30 points including three three point baskets. Lorenzo McCaskell added 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Chris Roberts recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.
