Bryan Station took advantage of their speed and quickness on both side of the ball to defeat Harlan County by a score of 56-22. Harlan County showed 36:56 minutes of clock possession while Bryan Station only had the ball 11:04 minutes. However Bryan Station’s quick strike capabilities allowed them to roll up 56 points on only 15 plays on offense. Bryan Station recorded 10 first downs and 292 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized five times for 55 yards and had one pass intercepted. Harlan County recorded 26 first downs and 384 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 35 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.
D’Andre Mack led Bryan Station’s ground game with 86 yards on seven carries. Andre Davis completed six of six passes for 204 yards and five touchdowns. CJ Walker caught two passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns. K-CI Carmichael added two receptions for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Floyd also caught two passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Devon Key led the defense with three solo and eight assisted tackles and intercepted a pass that he returned 73 yards. K-CI Carmichael added four solo and five assisted tackles. Chris Jackson recovered three solo, six assisted tackles, and a fumble recovery. KE-I Carmichael scored on a 95 yard fumble recovery return.
Dylan Cornett led Harlan County’s ground attack with 169 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries. Bobby Huff carried the ball 10 times for 96 yards and a touchdown. Jake Ball added 52 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Hunter Lewis added 47 yards on five carries. Jarett Ford completed one of three passes for 26 yards with one interception. Nehemiah Huffaker caught one pass for 26 yards. Caleb Carmichael led the defense with one solo and two assisted tackles. Paul Stapleton and Nick Cornett each recorded two solo tackles. Colby King intercepted a pass.
