DesJahvanni Miles scored three touchdowns and the defense came up with an interception late to ensure a Murray 28-21 victory over Madison Central. Murray recorded 10 first downs and 199 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 63 yards and lost two fumbles. Madison Central 12 first downs and 253 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized 10 times for 99 yards and had three passes intercepted.
DesJahvanni Miles led Murray’s ground game with 141 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. DesJahvanni Miles completed three of five passes for 29 yards. Peyton Glynn caught two passes for 18 yards. Tre Hornbuckle led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards. John Ryne Winchester added three solo and five assisted tackles. Keshun Love, Dante Darcus, and Peyton Glynn each intercepted a pass with Darcus scoring on his 25 yard interception return.
Korrion Crier led Madison Central’s ground game with 48 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Zach Hardin completed seven of 15 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions. John Williams and Jared grant each caught two passes for 29 and 28 yard respectively. Lawrence Lee caught a 31 yard touchdown pass. Jeffrey Robinson led the defense with two solo and six assisted tackles. Jabari Huguely added five solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Korrion Crier and Hunter Hazelwood each recovered a fumble.
