Scott County continues to roll with a 58-18 victory over North Hardin. Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 529 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 64 yards. North Hardin recorded 21 first downs and 330 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 24 yards and lost a fumble.
Theo Price led Scott County’s ground game with 180 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Keith Guy carried the ball nine times for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Noah Hughes added 54 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Clay McKee completed eight of 10 passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Clark Griffith caught three passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Braxton led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Keeshon Brent added six solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Kendrick Hamilton recorded three solo and four assisted tackles and scored on a 28 yard fumble recovery return.
Taven Graves led North Hardin’s ground game with 104 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Isaiah Bankhead completed 19 of 37 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Detlef Turner caught five passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Roderick Williams added four receptions for 70 yards. Jeremiah Draper led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles. Miguel Luna added three solo and four assisted tackles.
