Franklin County displayed their big play capability (four scoring plays over 40 yards) in a 35-21 victory over Anderson County.  Franklin County recorded eight first downs and 343 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized five times for 35 yards and lost a fumble.  Franklin County only had 30 plays on offense compared to 71 for Anderson County but averaged 11.4 yards per play.  Anderson County held a 32:57-15:03 advantage in time of possession.  Anderson County recorded 22 first downs and 409 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized eight times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Landon Hurst led Franklin County’s ground game with one carry for 80 yards and a touchdown.  Barrett Sanderson carried the ball three times for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Barrett Sanderson completed five of nine passes for 159 yards and a touchdown.  Jhanny Rodriguez caught two passes for 50 yards.  DeMarcus Kennedy caught a 79 yard touchdown pass.  Jhanny Rodriguez scored on a 70 yard kickoff return.  Keenan Holleran led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Sam Anderson added four solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Logan Duke and Jhanny Rodriguez each recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  DeMarcus Kennedy intercepted a pass.

Zach Carmichael led Anderson County’s ground game with 55 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Ryan Martin carried the ball eight times for 44 yards and two touchdowns.  Zach Carmichael completed 15 of 22 passes for 265 yards with one interception.  Brayden Russell caught seven passes for 128 yards.  Bryndon Labhart carried the ball three times for 39 yards.  Chris Toomey added two receptions for 45 yards.  JP Garmon caught two passes for 42 yards.  Ian Chilton led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Cade Cotton, Brayden Russell, and Braxton Bostic each recorded three solo tackles.
