Lexington Catholic defeated Marion County by a score of 43-13.  Lexington Catholic recorded 20 first downs and 432 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized eight times for 58 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Marion County recorded 10 first downs and 287 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized four times for 32 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Jaylen Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 108 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.  Brett Balcirak carried the ball six times for 38 yards.  Reese Ryan completed 13 of 16 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns.  Andy Thompson caught eight passes for 144 yards.  Donovan Morris added three receptions for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Andy Thompson returned two punts for 113 yards with a long return of 84 yards.  Braxton Couch led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Chase Boling added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Joey Griggs recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Trey Downs led Marion County’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Hayden Taylor completed nine of 18 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Paul Schneider caught six passes for 118 yards.  Trey Downs caught a 52 yard touchdown pass.  Trey Downs led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  I. Mattingly added seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Quamane Johnson recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.
