Bryan Station vs. Rowan County (Boys)

Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Deandre Dishman, 6-2 Jr. Timothy Dunn, 6-8 Sr. Chase Caldwell, 6-0 Sr. Josh Owsley, and 6-1 Jr. Rudy Gay.  Rowan County coach Shawn Thacker countered with 6-2 Jr. Josh Ravenscraft, 6-0 Jr. Larry Whelan, 6-2 Jr. Derek Williams, 5-10 Sr. Justin Graham, and 5-11 Sr. Ryan Callahan.

Bryan Station defeated Rowan County by a score of 73-62.  Bryan Station shot 50.8% from the field including one of 12 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 12 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 19 Rowan County turnovers.  Rowan County shot 47.1% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Vikings connected on 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.

6-0 Sr. CJ Walker led Bryan Station with 18 points and three steals.  6-0 Jr. Andre Davis added 15 points.  Deandre Dishman recorded 14 points and six rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Taquan Claitt chipped in with 12 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

Ryne Callahan led Rowan County with 20 points including three three point baskets.  Justin Graham added 16 points.  Josh Ravenscraft recorded 13 points and nine rebounds.  Larry Whelan added six points, seven rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.
