Montgomery County vs. Mercy Academy (Girls)

Montgomery County coach Janie Robinson started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Alyssa Terrel, 5-7 Jr. Sarah Arnett, 6-0 Sr. Katelin Pence, 5-7 7th Grade Kennedy Igo, and 5-6 Sr. Julia Baker.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 6-0 So. Elizabeth Anderson, 5-8 Jr. Erin Muthler, 6-0 Sr. Malerie Martin, 5-2 Jr. Jessica Laemmle, and 5-7 Sr. Hannah Bewley.

Mercy Academy defeated Montgomery County by a score of 59-32.  Mercy Academy shot 33.8% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 37 Montgomery County turnovers.  Montgomery County shot 24.4% from the field including zero of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 23 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored five points off 27 Mercy Academy turnovers.

Hannah Bewley led Mercy Academy with 12 points and five rebounds.  Malerie Martin added 10 points and 11 rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Kathryn Gross and Elizabeth Anderson pulled down nine and seven rebounds respectively.

Sarah Arnett led Montgomery County with 10 points.  Kennedy Igo added nine points.  Katelin Pence chipped in with seven points.  Alyssa Terrel pulled down eight rebounds.
