Franklin County coach Tony Wise started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Ben Nolan, 6-2 Sr. Ryan Schneider, 6-3 Sr. Michael Clark, 5-7 8th Grade Diablo Stewart, and 5-7 Fr. Jackson Lewis. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey, and 6-1 Jr. Camron Seater.
West Jessamine defeated Franklin County by a score of 104-72. West Jessamine shot 54.7% from the field including 13 of 26 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 21 of 35 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 26 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 52.3% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on 22 of 34 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 West Jessamine turnovers.
Siah Holifield led six West Jessamine players in double figures with 21 points including three three point baskets, seven assists, and two steals. Brooks Ely added 15 points including three three point baskets. 6-0 So. Isaiah Okesson recorded 14 points including four three point baskets. David McCorvey added 12 points and three steals. 6-0 Jr. Devin Cook and 6-3 Jr. Wells Ducas each scored 10 points.
Ryan Schneider led Franklin County with 23 points and six rebounds. Michael Clark added 13 points and eight rebounds. Jackson Lewis recorded nine points.
