Boyle County coach Greg Edwards started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Kalin Bottoms, 5-8 Jr. Marlee Smith, 5-10 So. Emmie Harris, 5-5 Jr. Allison Hall, and 5-6 Fr. Danielle Roney. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Alexis Lockard, 5-4 Fr. Peyton Riddle, 5-10 Jr. Alexus Walker, 5-3 8th Grade Juliette Smith, and 5-4 So. Britney Ward.
Scott County defeated Boyle County by a score of 79-66. Scott County shot 51.9% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Boyle County turnovers. Boyle County shot 31.7% from the field including six of 31 from beyond the arc. The Lady Rebels connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 21 Scott County turnovers.
Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 21 points including 10 of 11 free throws, four rebounds, and four assists. Britney Ward added 16 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and five steals. Juliette Smith recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Emmie Harris led Boyle County with 24 points including four three point baskets and 10 steals. Marlee Smith added 20 points and eight rebounds. Kalin Bottoms chipped in with 11 points.
