Waggener coach Kevin Glenn started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Davianna Ruff, 5-6 Sr. Stephanie Woolridge, 6-2 Sr. Alexandria Peden, 5-4 Fr. Nezeja Elliot, and 5-3 So. Val Johnson.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 Sr. Kerrigan Davis, 5-8 Jr. Anovia Byars, 5-11 Jr. Nakeisha Green, 5-6 Sr. Nakyira Joyce, and 5-6 Sr. Jazmine Richmond.

Henry Clay raced out to a 35-12 first quarter lead on their way to an 87-34 victory over Waggener.  Henry Clay shot 46.3% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on eight of 18 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 25 Waggener turnovers.  Henry Clay held a 23-9 advantage in second effort points.  Waggener shot 29.7% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Wildcats connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and score two points off eight Henry Clay turnovers.

5-6 Jr. T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 14 points, four rebounds, and three steals.  5-6 Sr. Destiny Carter added 13 points and three steals.  Anovia Byars chipped in with 11 points and three steals.  5-5 Sr. Kennedy Coney recorded 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Nakeisha Green pulled down 12 rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Hannah Young added six points and six rebounds.

Alexandria Peden led Waggener with 17 points and nine rebounds.  Davianna Ruff added six points and six rebounds.  Val Johnson also scored six points.
