Sayre coach Rob Goodman started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jake Duby, 6-2 Jr. Jack Henderson, 6-7 Sr. Quinn Pergande, 5-10 So. Robbie Goodman, and 6-2 Sr. Alex Webb.  Model coach Wes Scarberry countered with 6-3 Jr. Logan Jackson, 5-9 Jr. Andrew Jacob Backus, 6-5 Jr. Alex Chen, 5-7 So. Garrison Gray, and 5-11 Jr.Ephraim Otieno.

Sayre trailed 29-22 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat Model by a score of 60-52.  There were six lead changes and five ties in this game.  Sayre shot 32.8% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Model turnovers.  Model shot 31.6% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Sayre turnovers.

Jake Duby led Sayre with 18 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Quinn Pergande added 11 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Alex Webb and Robbie Goodman each scored nine points.

Alex Chen led Model with 21 points, 14 rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Ephraim Otieno added 17 points, five rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Garrison Gray added nine points and Logan Jackson pulled down nine rebounds.
