Garrard County coach Scott Latham started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Madison Davis, 5-9 Sr. Hannah Contini, 5-10 So. Sis Logan, 5-6 So. Maddy Day, and 5-7 Jr. Randa Morris. Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-10 So. Lindsey Johns, 5-9 Sr. Ravin Cain, 6-0 So. Mallie Cornett, 5-5 Jr. Emily Willoughby, and 5-8 So. Kasi Schneid.
Madison Central trailed 20-19 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Garrard County by a score of 33-28. There were eight lead changes and 10 ties in this game. Sis Logan led Garrard County with nine points and four rebounds. Maddy Day added six points and four rebounds.
