Atherton coach Woodrow Murphy started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Mackenzie Dozer, 5-7 Jr. Cori Haeberlin, 5-8 Sr. Jasmine Lewis, 5-2 Sr. Summer Wright, and 5-4 Sr. Ruby Allgeier.  Sayre coach Scotty Sutton countered with 5-6 Fr. Dee Dee Wheeler, 5-4 So. Ellie Alford, 6-3 Sr. Gabby Bowie, 5-2 Jr. Hannah Brady, and 5-4 Sr. Meg Croney-Clark.

Sayre defeated Atherton by a score of 51-39.  Sayre shot 51.4% from the field including seven of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Spartans connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Atherton turnovers.  Atherton shot 26.9% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 23 Sayre turnovers.

Dee Dee Wheeler led Sayre with 25 points including six three point baskets.  5-10 Fr. Isabel Pergande added 11 points and eight rebounds.  Gabby Bowie recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.

Mackenzie Dozier led Atherton with 15 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.  Jasmine Lewis added 12 points and eight rebounds.
