Burgin coach Chad Terrell started the following lineup: 5-9 Fr. Summer Mullins, 5-9 Fr. Miranda Hungate, 5-10 Jr. Taylor Shepherd, 5-4 Fr. Autumn Ransdell, and 5-5 Jr. Sarah Auvil.  Sayre coach Scotty Sutton countered with 5-6 Fr. Dee Dee Wheeler, 5-4 So. Ellie Alford, 6-3 Sr. Gabby Bowie, 5-2 Jr. Hannah Brady, and 5-4 Sr. Meg Croney-Clark.

Sayre defeated Burgin by a score of 46-12.  Sayre shot 38.6% from the field including zero of six from the three point line.  The Lady Spartans connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 28 Burgin turnovers.  Burgin shot 14.8% from the field including one of one from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on three of eight free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Sayre turnovers.

Ellie Alford led Sayre with 11 points.  Hannah Brady added nine points and three steals.  Gabby Bowie recorded six points, four rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals.

Sarah Auvil and Autumn Ransdell each scored three points for Burgin.
