Central coach Ashley Franklin started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Brenda Hackett, 5-7 So. Stephanie Cole, 5-5 Jr. Tara Glass, 5-2 So. Thelisia Beasley Cain, and 5-5 Jr. Peyton Evans. Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Sr. Morgan Rich, 5-10 8th Grade Sarah Sutton, 6-1 Sr. Holly Robinson, 5-6 Jr. Jordan Brooks, and 5-8 Jr. Savannah Gregory.
Allen County-Scottsville raced out to a 20-6 first quarter lead on their way to a 66-53 victory over Central. ACS shot 47.9% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Lady Patriots connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled own 36 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 24 Central turnovers. Central shot 44.9% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc. The Yellowjackets connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.
Savannah Gregory led ACS with 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and six steals. Morgan Rich added 18 points including two three point baskets and three steals. Sarah Sutton chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Holly Robinson recorded nine points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
Brenda Hackett led Central with 18 points including four three point baskets, six rebounds, and three steals. Peyton Evans added 16 points including two three point baskets and three steals.
