Christian Academy of Louisville coach Jana Costner started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Brittany Mumford, 5-7 7th Grade Shelby Calhoun, 5-9 Jr. Emma Bowman, 5-6 So. Emma Wesley, and 5-6 So. Summer Conti. Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Sr. Morgan Rich, 5-10 8th Grade Sarah Sutton, 6-1 Sr. Holly Robinson, 5-6 Jr. Jordan Brooks, and 5-8 Jr. Savannah Gregory.
ACS utilized their size advantage to relentlessly pound the boards in a 79-61 victory over CAL. ACS shot 40.5% from the field including four of nine from the three point line. The Lady Patriots connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 CAL turnovers. CAL shot 43.1% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Centurions connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 ACS turnovers.
Savannah Gregory was named Tournament MVP and led ACS with 23 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. Holly Robinson added 20 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Morgan Rich recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Emma Wesley led CAL with 19 points. Summer Conti added 13 points.
