Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Sr. Reese Ryan, 6-6 Sr. Walker Boothe, 5-10 Sr. Michael Talbott, and 6-2 Sr. Jarod Griffin.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. Lucky Jackson, 5-10 So. Jajuante Carpenter, 6-6 Jr. Ross Jenkins, 5-10 Jr. Jaelin Jenkins, and 6-0 Jr. Harrison Lane.

Lafayette defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 56-45.  Lafayette shot 44.7% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 29.8% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.

Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 16 points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Harrison Lane added 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Lucky Jackson recorded 13 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. 

Jarod Griffin led Lexington Catholic with 13 points including three three point baskets.  Tanner Johnson added nine points and seven rebounds.  Walker Boothe pulled down eight rebounds.
