Mercer County vs. West Jessamine (Boys)

Mercer County coach Josh Cook started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Malik Dow, 6-3 Jr. Alijah Mink, 6-3 Jr. Drew Davis, 6-1 Sr. Deron Bartleson, and 6-4 Fr. Trevor Faulkner.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.

Mercer County defeated West Jessamine by a score of 67-49.  Mercer County shot 63% from the field including two of seven from the three point line.  The Titans connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 33.3% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Mercer County turnovers.

Trevor Faulkner led Mercer County with 18 points and five rebounds.  Malik Dow added 12 points and seven rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Austin Sparrow chipped in with 11 points.  6-4 Jr. Will Hager recorded nine points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Siah Holifield led West Jessamine with 19 points and seven rebounds.  David McCorvey added 13 points.
