Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Lauren Boehm, 5-7 8th Grade Maaliya Owens, 5-10 Fr. Sidney Southerland, 5-3 8th Grade Juliette Smith, and 5-6 Fr. Peyton Riddle. Cooper coach Nicole Levandusky countered with 5-9 So. Hailey Anderson, 5-9 Fr. Lexi Held, 5-9 So. Hailey Nicholas, 5-7 So. Morgan Willett, and 5-8 Fr. Asyah H. Mitchell.
Scott County defeated Cooper by a score of 82-69. Scott County shot 48.4% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Cooper turnovers. Cooper shot 40.4% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 23 of 43 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Scott County turnovers.
Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 23 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Juliette Smith added 22 points, six assists, and four steals. Smith was eight of nine from the field and six of eight from the free throw line. 6-1 Fr. Makala Smith chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds. Maaliya Owens added nine points. Lauren Boehm recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
Hailey Anderson led Cooper with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Lexi Held added 22 points. Hailey Nicholas chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
