Assumption coach Amy Siegel started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Cassidy Janes, 5-7 Sr. Katie Monaghan, 6-5 Sr. Nora Kiesler, 5-4 Jr. Sabrina Fusseneger, and 5-7 So. Kristen Olinick.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 6-0 So. Elizabeth Anderson, 5-8 Jr. Erin Muthler, 6-0 Sr. Malerie Martin, 5-3 Jr. Jessica Laemmle, and 5-7 Sr. Hannah Bewley.

Mercy Academy defeated Assumption by a score of 59-39.  Mercy shot 32.2% from the field including eight of 24 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 27 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 44% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Rockets attempted 34 less shots (59-25) than Mercy.  The Rockets connected on 13 of 30 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored three points off nine Mercy turnovers.

Malerie Martin led Mercy with 15 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.  Hannah Bewley added 12 points.  5-9 Sr. Kathryn Gross chipped in with eight points.

Nora Kiesler led Assumption with 10 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  5-6 So. Jenna Calhoun and 5-8 Fr. Samantha Babey added six points each.
