Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Colby Barnes, 6-0 Jr. Isaiah Tisdale, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. Dakhari Campbell, and 6-0 Sr. Felix Wilson.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-4 Jr. Darius Williams, 6-1 Sr. PJ Corio, 6-5 So. Dontell Brown, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Lewis, and 6-2 So. Taveion Hollingsworth.

Henry Clay raced out to an early 13-2 lead but Paul Laurence Dunbar fought back to capture a 60-53 victory.  Dunbar shot 44.2% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 12 of 25 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 28 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 50% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Dunbar turnovers.

Taveion Hollingsworth led Dunbar with 18 points and five rebounds.  Jordan Lewis added 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and six steals.  Darius Williams chipped in with eight points and four steals.  Dontell Brown recorded seven points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.

Jordan Houston led Henry Clay with 18 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Dakhari Campbell added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Isaiah Tisdale chipped in with 12 points.  Colby Barnes recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
