Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Fr. Kia Sivils, 5-11 Jr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Sr. Ashley Johnson, and 5-7 Jr. Meghan Colley. Ballard coach Frank H. Wright countered with 5-5 Fr. Jada Williams, 5-5 Fr. Shania Beason, 5-8 Sr. Allison Wiseman, 5-3 Fr. Briana Mishler, and 5-6 Sr. Alex Martin.
Sacred Heart Academy defeated Ballard by a score of 61-48. Sacred Heart Academy shot 43.5% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off six Ballard turnovers. Ballard shot 35.3% from the field including zero of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bruins connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.
5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart with 22 points including six three point baskets. Grace Berger added 10 points and five rebounds. Ashley Johnson recorded eight points and five assists. Kia Sivils and Lydia Taylor each pulled down six rebounds.
Alex Martin led Ballard with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Briana Mishler added 14 points. Shania Beason recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and four steals.
