Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Cameron Thomas, 6-2 Jr. John Williams, 6-4 Sr. Sam Jones, 5-10 Jr. Terique Miller, and 5-11 Sr. Kirkland Humphrey. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.
Madison Central led 38-29 early in the second half but West Jessamine rallied for a 73-66 victory. There were seven lead changes and eight ties in the game. West Jessamine shot 50.9% from the field including three of six from the three point line. The Colts connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 45.8% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven West Jessamine turnovers.
Brooks Ely led West Jessamine with 30 points and five rebounds. Ely was 12 of 17 from the field including two of four from the three point line and four of four free throws. David McCorvey added 15 points and 11 rebounds. Siah Holifield chipped in with 14 points. Dalton Crouse recorded 10 points and five rebounds. Camron Seater dished out six assists.
Kirkland Humphrey led Madison Central with 18 points including three three point baskets. Cameron Thomas added 16 points. Sam Jones recorded 14 points and nine rebounds. John Williams recorded eight points, six rebounds, and three assists. Terique Miller added eight points, five rebounds, and three assists.
