Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Rachel Blake, 5-9 Jr. Sarah Bonn, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Lynch, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Browning, and 5-7 Jr. Caroline Osbourn.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 6-0 So. Mallie Cornett, 5-10 So. Lindsey Johns, 5-9 Sr. Raevin Cain, 5-5 Fr. Bailee Vanover, and 5-8 So. Kasi Schneid.

Madison Central’s Kasi Schneid hit a three point basket with 12 seconds left in the game and Mallie Cornett made a game saving block in the closing seconds to give the Lady Indians a 52-51 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Lexington Catholic took a 17-6 lead in the second quarter but Madison Central rallied for the victory.  There were five lead changes and five ties in this game. 

Madison Central shot 37.2% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 34.8% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.

Lindsey Johns led Madison Central with 21 points including four three point baskets.  Kasi Schneid added 12 points including three three point baskets.  5-8 Jr. Taylor Vance chipped in with seven points on seven of eight free throws.  5-9 Jr. Kenadee Everly pulled down 10 rebounds.  Mallie Cornett recorded four points, seven rebounds, and five blocked shots.

Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic led Lexington Catholic with 15 points including eight of 12 free throws and six rebounds.  Bailey Browning added 13 points.  Caroline Osbourn chipped in with eight points.  Caroline Lynch recorded seven points and five rebounds.
