Waggener coach Bryan O’Neill Sr. started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Jaalam Hill, 6-4 So. Devon Cooper, 6-6 Jr. Nicholas Kratholm, 5-7 Sr. Trevon Jackson, and 5-10 Sr. Jeremy Cole. Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-6 Sr. Jax Levitch, 6-5 Sr. Christian Thieneman, 6-10 Sr. Raymond Spalding, 6-2 Sr. D’Angelo West, and 6-4 Sr. Daniel Ramser.
Trinity defeated Waggener by a score of 60-50. Trinity shot 37.5% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line. The Shamrocks connected on 18 of 22 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Waggener turnovers. Waggener shot 46.7% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Trinity turnovers.
Christian Thieneman led Trinity with 17 points and five rebounds. 6-4 Sr. Jay Murphy added 13 points and four rebounds. Jax Levitch chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds. Raymond Spalding recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots.
Devon Cooper led Waggener with 16 points and five rebounds. Jaalam Hill added nine points and four rebounds. Nicholas Kratholm recorded eight points and five rebounds. Trevon Jackson also scored eight points.
