Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup:6-4 Sr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Sr. Reese Ryan, 6-5 Sr. Walker Boothe, 5-10 Sr. Michael Talbott, and 6-2 Sr. Jarod Griffin.  Boyle county coach Steve Adams countered with 6-1 Sr. Hagen Tyler, 5-10 Sr. Chapman Bean, 6-5 Jr. Colton Elkins, 6-0 Sr. Keagen Hinkle, and 6-0 Sr. Jeremiah Bell.

Boyle County rallied from a 55-44 deficit with five minutes remaining to earn a 60-59 victory on a Jeremiah Bell layup with four seconds remaining on the clock.  Lexington Catholic missed a chance to win with a missed shot at the buzzer.  Lexington Catholic had a 60-59 lead and the ball with 30 seconds left but turned the ball over giving the Rebels the opportunity to claim the win. Lexington Catholic led by 14 points in the third quarter and actually led for 28:08 minutes of the game.

Boyle County shot 36.4% from the field including four of 21 from the three point line.  The Rebels connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off four Boyle County turnovers.

Jeremiah Bell led Boyle County with 25 points including 12 of 18 free throws and pulled down seven rebounds.  Hagen Tyler added 18 points and six rebounds.  Chapman Bean chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Michael Talbott added 13 points and four assists.  Jarod Griffin recorded eight points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Reese Ryan recorded five points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.
