Boyle County coach Steve Adams started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Hagen Tyler, 5-10 Sr. Chapman Bean, 6-5 Jr. Colton Elkins, 6-0 Sr. Keagen Hinkle, and 6-0 Sr. Jeremiah Bell.  Ballard coach Chris Renner countered with 6-2 Sr. Anthony Eaves, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Perry, 6-7 Sr. Corey Douglas, 5-7 So. Jamil Wilson, and 5-11 Sr. Paul Schiavone.

Boyle County outscored Ballard 25-12 in the third quarter and connected on 40 of 47 free throws for the game to record an 85-70 upset victory over Ballard.  Boyle County shot 42.2% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Rebels connected on 40 of 47 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and committed 16 turnovers.  Ballard shot 39.3% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Bruins connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers.

Hagen Tyler led Boyle County with 32 points including six three point baskets and 10 of 10 free throws.  Tyler also pulled down 12 rebounds.  Jeremiah Bell added 26 points including 16 of 19 free throws and pulled down 12 rebounds.  Colton Elkins recorded 14 points and three blocked shots.

Jalen Perry led Ballard with 30 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals.  Jamil Wilson added 13 points including two three point baskets.  Corey Douglas recorded 11 points, four rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.
