Montgomery County trailed late in the game by a score of 10-7 and the offense was not clicking but Montgomery County pulled the proverbial “rabbit out of the hat” to spark their offense.  The Indians were lined up on fourth down for an apparent punt but instead Dillon Akers threw a pass to Mason Gooch who raced to the Anderson County four yard line.  Jake Harvey then scored on a four yard run and Spencer Holder added the kick to give Montgomery County a 14-10 lead and the defense held to secure the victory.  Montgomery County recorded 10 first downs and 226 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized six times for 57 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Anderson County recorded 17 first downs and 201 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized five times for 37 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.
