Madison Central outscored Madison Southern 10-0 in the final quarter on their way to a 27-21 victory.  Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 257 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized four times for 35 yards.  Madison Southern recorded 13 first downs and 273 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized nine times for 75 yards and lost two fumbles.

Korrion Crier led Madison Central’s ground game with 84 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Johan Williams carried the ball 21 times for 59 yards.  Jabari Huguely added 34 yards on nine carries.  Zach Hardin completed six of eight passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.  John Williams caught two passes for 30 yards.  Lawrence Lee Jr. caught two passes for 18 yards.  Evin Harris caught a 14 yard touchdown pass.  KJ Long led the defense with seven solo and eight assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards, forced two fumbles, and recovered a fumble.  Korrion Crier and Kenton Edwards each recorded four solo and five assisted tackles.

Payton Skidmore led Madison Southern’s ground game with 59 yards on nine carries.  AJ Richardson carried the ball seven times for 54 yards.  Carter Smith added 38 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Landon Stacy carried the ball 10 times for 32 yards and a touchdown.  Aaron Slone completed eight of 14 passes for 91 yards.  Payton Skidmore caught three passes for 34 yards.  AJ Richardson added two receptions for 25 yards.  Payton Skidmore returned three kickoffs for 123 yards with a long return of 85 yards.  David Williams led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Carter Smith added five solo and five assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Nathaniel Eads recorded three solo and five assisted tackles.
