Otterbein coach Connie Richardson started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Kiersten Taylor, 5-9 Sr. Amariah Huck, 5-9 Fr. Dani Kissel, 5-1 So. Abby Miduri, and 5-6 Jr. Marissa Sheets. Greensboro coach Randy Tuggle countered with 5-9 So. Kamerin Williams, 5-5 Jr. Marla Crawford, 5-10 Jr. Monica Smalls, 5-7 Fr. Jada Peterson, and 5-6 So. Shamara Richardson.
Otterbein took an early lead and was never threatened in a 93-55 victory over Greensboro. Otterbein shot 47.4% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and committed 16 turnovers. Greensboro shot 29.5% from the field including zero of 10 from beyond the arc. The Pride connected on 19 of 26 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and committed 21 turnovers.
Dani Kissel led Otterbein with 21 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds. Marissa Sheets added 16 points. Amariah Huck recorded 15 points. Abby Miduri chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and six assists.
Monica Smalls led Greensboro with 12 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots. Jada Peterson chipped in with eight points. 5-9 Fr. Da Jah Joyner recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.
