Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Wade Goode, 5-10 Jr. Tanner Mcaninch, 6-1 Sr. Preston Ledford, 5-9 Jr. Noah Young, and 5-10 Jr. Devin Alcorn. Lafayette coach Michael Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. William Watkins, 6-0 Sr. Harrison Lane, 6-6 Sr. Ross Jenkins, 5-9 Sr. Jaelin Jenkins, and 5-10 Sr. TJ Downey.
Lafayette pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Lincoln County by a score of 81-67. Lafayette shot 47.5% from the field including 11 of 30 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 20 Lincoln County turnovers. Lincoln County shot 40.8% from the field including nine of 21 from beyond the arc. The Patriots connected on 18 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.
Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Harrison Lane added 15 points including four three point baskets. TJ Downey chipped in with 13 points. 5-10 Jr. Jajuante Carpenter recorded 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Devin Alcorn led Lincoln County with 24 points including five three point baskets. Noah Young added 16 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Wade Goode recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
