Eastern coach Josh Leslie started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Natalie Collins, 5-9 Sr. Markeia Porter, 5-11 Fr. Mikayla Kinnard, 5-7 So. Alexis Smith, and 5-8 Sr. Shavia Thompson.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Jr. Josie Woods, 5-9 Fr. Raquael Reese, 6-2 So. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-7 Sr. Madi Woods, and 5-4 Sr. Jessica Laemmle.

Eastern pulled away in the closing minutes to defeat Mercy Academy by a score of 77-61.  Eastern shot 50.9% from the field including 12 of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 27 Mercy turnovers.  Mercy shot 39.6% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 25 Eastern turnovers.

Natalie Collins led Eastern with 20 points including six three point baskets.  Shavia Thompson added 13 points including three three point baskets and six steals.  Alexis Smith recorded 12 points and eight rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Kiara Pearl also scored 12 points. Mikayla Kinnard dished out seven assists.

Madi Woods led Mercy with 13 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and five steals.  5-9 Jr. Sadie Zeisloft added 10 points.  5-9 Fr. Raquael Reese recorded nine points , seven rebounds, and three steals.  Jessica Laemmle also scored nine points.
