Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Lauren Boehm, 5-9 So. Peyton Riddle, 6-1 So. Mykala Smith, 5-4 Fr. Juliette Smith, and 5-8 Sr. Bailey Hawkins.  Madison Southern coach Summer Simmons countered with 5-11 Sr. Briana Lanham, 5-11 Jr. Hannah Keene, 5-11 Jr. Marley Lawson, 5-6 So. Ashlynn Clark, and 5-8 Jr. Keri Thorn.

Scott County connected on one of two free throws in the closing seconds to nip Madison Southern by a score of 67-66.  The score was tied 10 times and there were 13 lead changes in this game.  Scott County shot 48.1% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Madison Southern.  Madison Southern shot 42.6% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 22 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 20 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Juliette Smith added 13 points and eight assists.  5-6 Jr. Kadee Hudson chipped in with eight points.

Briana Lanham led Madison Southern with 26 points including two three point baskets and 10 of 13 free throws and pulled down five rebounds.  Ashlynn Clark added 13 points and four rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Conner Coyle chipped in with nine points.
