Sayre coach Scotty Sutton started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Sydney Strup, 5-4 Jr. Ellie Alford, 6-0 So. Lainey Tew, 5-0 Sr. Hannah Brady, and 5-5 So. Dee Dee Wheeler.  St. Patrick’s coach Beth Garrison countered with 5-10 Sr. Victoria McKay, 5-6 Sr. Morgan Schroer, 5-9 Sr. Kathleen Estill, 5-4 Sr. Arley Gutierrez, and 5-7 Jr. Lexi Scales.

Sayre defeated St. Patrick by a score of 45-18.  Sayre shot 37.5% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 35 St. Patrick turnovers.  St. Patrick shot 23.3% from the field including zero of seven from beyond the arc.  The Saints connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored two points off 12 Sayre turnovers.

Dee Dee Wheeler led Sayre with 18 points including two three point baskets.  Hannah Brady added nine points.

Kathleen Estill led St. Patrick with six points and seven rebounds.  Victoria McKay also scored six points.
