Campbell County coach Aric Russell started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Cole Hegyi, 6-3 Sr. Gideon Measner, 6-8 Sr. Matt Wilson, 5-11 Sr. Trent McGovney, and 6-0 Jr. Garren Bertsch. Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-4 So. Austin Hall, 6-5 Fr. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Jr. Tre King, 6-1 Fr. Isaiah Hunt, and 6-2 Sr. Trevor Hill.
Campbell County led 27-23 at halftime but Lexington Christian Academy outscored them 20-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 63-51 victory. The score was tied five times and there were six lead changes in the game. Lexington Christian Academy shot 55.8% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Campbell County turnovers. Campbell County shot 37.3% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. The Camels connected on 10 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 LCA turnovers.
Tre King led LCA with 21 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Kyle Rode added 19 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Trevor Hill recorded 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists.
Cole Hegyi led Campbell County with 14 points and seven rebounds. Trent McGovney also scored 14 points including three three point baskets. Matt Wilson recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.
