Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 Sr. Anovia Byars, 5-9 Sr. Jordyn Jackson, 5-10 Sr. Nakeisha Green, 5-6 Sr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-8 So. Braxton Price.
Henry Clay defeated Beechwood by a score of 62-36. Henry Clay shot 37.7% from the field including 12 of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 20 Beechwood turnovers. Beechwood shot 35.55% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Tigers connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored four points off nine Henry Clay turnovers.
Braxton Price led Henry Clay with 19 points including three three point baskets and six of seven from the free throw line. 5-8 Jr. Lexi Long added 18 points on six three point baskets. T’Laya Lyvers recorded seven points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Jordyn Jackson chipped in with six points and 13 rebounds.
Allison Johnson led Beechwood with 14 points including two three point baskets. Kimi Stokes added 10 points.
