Eastern Kentucky University Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Missouri State defeated Eastern Kentucky by a score of 87-63. Missouri State shot 44.9% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line. They connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers. Eastern Kentucky shot 41% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and committed 19 turnovers.
Tyonna Snow led Missouri State with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals. Kenzie Williams added eight points and six rebounds. 5-8 Jr. Lexi Hughes chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets. 5-10 So. Liza Fruendt also scored nine points. Hillary Chvatal added eight points, six rebounds, and three steals.
Shameekia Murray led Eastern Kentucky with 17 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Jalen O’Bannon added 14 points and eight rebounds. Michaela Hunter and Mariah Massengill each scored nine points.
