Sacred Heart coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. KiKi Samsel.  Eastern coach Josh Leslie countered with 5-9 Sr. Markeia Porter, 5-6 Sr. Shavia Thompson, 5-10 Jr. Natalie Collins, 5-7 So. Brea Mishler, and 5-6 So. Alexis Smith.

Eastern pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Sacred Heart Academy by a score of 68-58.  Eastern shot 42.9% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 21 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 39.1% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 17 Eastern turnovers.

Shavia Thompson led Eastern with 18 points and three steals.  5-11 Fr. Mikayla Kinnard added 17 points and nine rebounds.  Markeia Porter recorded 15 points and seven rebounds.

5-9 So. Natalie Fichter led Sacred Heart with 14 points.  Grace Berger added 13 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  KiKi Samsel chipped in with 11 points.  Ashlee Harris recorded 10 points and five rebounds.
