Dixie Heights coach Tara Smith started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Brooke Davis, 5-6 8th Grade Jaiden Douthit, 5-11 Sr. Jenna Bluemlein, 5-3 Fr. Grace Perry, and 5-5 Jr. Riley East. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-9 So. Caroline Bennett, 5-7 Fr. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-10 Jr. Kiara Pankins, 5-3 So. Terri Abram, and 5-8 8th Grade Shelbi Wilson.
Lafayette defeated Dixie Heights by a score of 59-47. Lafayette shot 45.2% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected onn18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Dixie Heights turnovers. Dixie Heights shot 36.4% from the field including one of ten from beyond the arc. The Lady Colonels connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.
Kiara Pankins, who was named Tournament MVP led Lafayette with 29 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Terri Abram added 12 points including 10 of 12 from the free throw line and four assists.
5-6 Jr. Kylie Brock led Dixie Heights with 17 points including three three point baskets and four steals. Jenna Bluemlein added eight points and five rebounds.
