Simon Kenton coach Jeff Stowers started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Megan Buckner, 5-8 So. Ally Niece, 6-2 Jr. Madi Meier, 5-3 Jr. Kendyl Gilliam, and 5-4 8th Grade Morgan Stamper.  Mercer County coach Chris Souder countered with 5-8 Jr. Lyric Houston, 5-9 So. Faith Lake, 6-1 So. Emmy Souder, 5-7 So. Lexy Lake, and 5-8 So. Seygan Robbins.

 

Mercer County defeated Simon Kenton by a score of 62-53.  Mercer County shot 45.7% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The lady Titans connected on 14 of 18 free throws and pulled down 22 rebounds.  Simon Kenton shot 38% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pioneers connected on 13 of 19 free throws and pulled down 33 rebounds.

 

5-10 So. Emma Davis came off the bench to spark Mercer County and was named Game MVP and scored 12 points.  Seygan Robbins and Emmy Souder led Mercer County with 19 and 18 points respectively.

 

Ally Niece led Simon Kenton with 26 points and eight rebounds.  Morgan Stamper added eight points.  Megan Buckner recorded seven points and 11 rebounds.  Madi Meier also scored seven points.
