Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. Kiki Samsel.  Waggener coach Kevin Glenn countered with 5-11 Sr. Destiny Morgan, 5-6 Sr. Davianna Ruff, 6-0 Jr. Tiara Biermacher, 5-2 Sr. Selena Thurston, and 5-4 So. Nejia Elliott.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Waggener by a score of 69-53.  Sacred Heart shot 41.8% from the field including four of 20 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 27 Waggener turnovers.  Waggener shot 41.5% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Wildcats connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 21 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.  Kia Sivils added 13 points and six rebounds.  Ashlee Harris chipped in with nine points, four assists, and four steals.  Lydia Taylor recorded eight points and eight rebounds.  Natalie Fichter pulled down 10 rebounds.

Nejia Elliott led Waggener with 22 points. Davianna Ruff added 14 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Destiny Morgan recorded eight points and six rebounds.  Tiara Biermacher pulled down seven rebounds.
