Madison Central coach Robbie Cooksey started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Lindsey Johns, 5-7 Jr. Kasi Schneid, 6-0 Jr. Mallie Cornett, 5-4 So. Bailee Vanover, and 5-4 Sr. Emily Willoughby. Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-8 So. Braxton Price, 5-8 So. Cheyenne Jones, 5-10 Sr. Nakeisha Green, 5-6 Sr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-5 So. Alexis Lutz.
Henry Clay defeated Madison Central by a score of 51-33. Henry Clay shot 30% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers. Mallie Cornett led Madison Central with 14 points, eight rebounds, nine blocked shots, and three steals. Lindsey Johns added seven points and five rebounds.
