Clay County defeated Jackson County by a score of 67-48. Clay County shot 48.4% from the field including seven of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Tigers connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers. Jackson County shot 46.5% from the field including three of six from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on five of 14 free throws and pulled down 23 rebounds.
5-10 Sr. Kelli Roberts led Clay County with 22 points and six rebounds. 5-9 8th Grade Kaylee Mathis added 18 points, six rebounds, and six assists. 5-6 Fr. Shelby Phillips recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds. 5-9 Fr. Summer Parker chipped in with 10 points and four rebounds.
5-10 Fr. Sara Mulligan led Jackson County with 17 points. 5-10 Fr. Alexis Creech added nine points and six rebounds. 5-8 So. Morgan Vickers chipped in with six points.
