Assumption coach Amy Siegel started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Kristin Olinick, 5-6 Jr. Jenna Calhoun, 6-0 Jr. Piper Gray, 5-4 Sr. Sabrina Fusseneger, and 5-6 Fr. Ally Willis.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-10 So. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. Kiki Samsel.

Sacred Heart Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat Assumption by a score of 63-49.  Sacred Heart shot 51.1% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 33.3% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart with 17 points including five three point baskets.  Grace Berger added 16 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Ashlee Harris recorded 14 points and Kia Sivils chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

5-6 Fr. Jasmine Elder led Assumption with 16 points and five rebounds.  Jenna Calhoun added nine points and Piper Gray pulled down six rebounds.
