Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Kenadee Everly, 5-10 Jr. Lindsey Johns, 6-0 Jr. Mallie Cornett, 5-4 So. Bailee Vanover, and 5-4 Sr. Emily Willoughby. Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-9 Jr. Laken Pinkerman, 5-7 Sr. Caroline Osbourn, 5-9 Sr. Sarah Bonn, 5-3 So. Ashley Frebis, and 5-7 Fr. Jay Ballard.
Lexington Catholic defeated Madison Central by a score of 42-37. Lexington Catholic shot 42.4% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored five points off 13 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 30% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. Lindsey Johns led Madison Central with 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists. 6-0 Jr. Savannah Fallis added 10 points. Mallie Cornett recorded eight points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.
