Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Leander Ridgeway, 6-2 So. Justin Mitchell, 6-5 Sr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. JaQuise Simpson, and 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Tisdale.  Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-2 Jr. David Burton, 6-1 Sr. Gabriel Schmitt, 6-2 Jr. LJ Harris, 5-9 Jr. Jacob King, and 6-0 Jr. Lucas Burkman.

 

Henry Clay defeated Trinity by a score of 60-50.  The score was tied eight times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Trinity led 25-22 at halftime but Henry Clay outscored the Shamrocks 38-25 in the second half.  Henry Clay shot 59% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Trinity turnovers.  Trinity shot 35.3% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Shamrocks connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Isaiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 25 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Leander Ridgeway added 16 points and five rebounds.  Justin Mitchell recorded 13 points, six rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.

 

LJ Harris led Trinity with 14 points.  Lucas Burkman added 13 points including three three point baskets.  5-11 Jr. Brendan King recorded nine points and six rebounds.
