Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Laken Pinkerman, 5-7 Fr. Jay Ballard, 5-9 Sr. Sarah Bonn, 5-3 So. Ashley Frebis, and 5-7 Sr. Caroline Osbourn.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon countered with 5-11 Jr. Autumn Herriford, 5-9 So. Peyton Humphreys, 5-11 Sr. Nyla Blair, 5-5 So. Mashayla Cecil, and 5-7 So. Anaiyah Cotton.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar nipped Lexington Catholic by a score of 40-39.  The score was tied six times and there were six ties in the game.  Dunbar shot 28.3% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 30% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on four of 11 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored five points off 10 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Nyla Blair led Dunbar with 12 points and six rebounds.  Blair was six of eight from the field.  Mashayla Cecil added 11 points and four assists.  Autumn Herriford recorded nine points and 10 rebounds.  Peyton Humphreys and Anaiyah Cotton pulled down 11 and nine rebounds respectively.

 

Ashley Frebis led Lexington Catholic with 12 points including two three point baskets.5-7 Fr. Maylo Given added 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Caroline Osbourn chipped in with seven points and five rebounds.  Sarah Bonn recorded four points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  5-6 So. Maya Jazdzewski pulled down seven rebounds.
