Shelby County coach Jason Holland started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Amie Conley, 5-6 Sr. Madison Todd, 6-0 Sr. Justus Martin, 5-2 So. Zaphaniah Gray, and 5-3 Sr. Tyra Jones.  Male coach Champ Ligon Jr. countered with 6-1 Fr. Cameron Browning, 6-0 Jr. Kyra Hogan, 6-1 Sr. Illyah Green, 5-4 So. Ciaja Harbison, and 5-6 So. Emilia Sexton.

Male outscored Shelby County by a total of 29-6 in the first and third quarters in a 59-35 victory.  Male shot 47.1% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Shelby County turnovers.  Shelby County shot 25.6% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rockets connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Male turnovers.

Cameron Browning led Male with 16 points and nine rebounds.  Illiyah Green added 13 points, five rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.  5-11 Jr. Logan Calvert recorded 10 points and five rebounds.

Justus Martin led Shelby County with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Zaphaniah Gray added nine points and four rebounds.
